LADY LILLIAN LILIENTHAL
Lady Lillian Lilienthal is a wealthy, kind, elderly scholar who owns and presides over the Lilienth Hall estate. She is the benefactor of Compass Rose, who while searching for a protégé discovered the feckless Rose though a grammar school essay contest. Lady Lilienthal has an abundantly storied past of voluminous knowledge, experience and secrets. Educated at Oxford and the University of Chicago, her mentors were among the scions of the legendary Golden Age of Archeology, whose fire she continues to keep alive through the promising students she provides for. Her brilliant round dark eyes shine with intelligence and generosity, dominating her now wizened frame. Her symbol is the owl. Her age is uncertain.
